Abstract/Contents:"Sod is used on roadsides to reduce surface erosion, to provide surface stabilization, and to provide areas where silting may occur with minimum damage to grade and contour. Fortunately sod can be used even when traffic is operating." Discusses the advantages and disadvantes of using sod in roadside development.
