Abstract/Contents:"Summer patch disease, caused by Magnaporthiopsis poae and Magnaportthiopsis meyeri-festucae, is a severe root disease to hard fescue (Festuca brevipila Tracey). Summer patch clones R10 and S5 were selected in the mapping population as the resistant and susceptible parental genotypes, respectively. We performed a Next Generation Sequencing for the mapping population. The sequence data were analyzed by Stacks to find the SNPs. The phenotypic data were adjusted to a 1 to 10 scale to indicate the severity of summer patch and Major effect quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for summer patch resistance were identified by JoinMap."
