USGA Summary Points:Isolate of Pythium species during summer months is challenging as most of the isolates recovered were non-pathogenic species such as Pythium torulosum. Based on the limited data we collected in 2020, we hypothesize that Pythium infection precedes symptom development in creeping bentgrass. P. torulosum growth was only inhibited by cyazofamid, fluazinam, and etridazole. In vitro sensitivity varied among Pythium species, but all were extremely sensitive to cyazofamid.
