Abstract/Contents: | "Six years ago, the directors of the Weston Golf Club in Weston, MA approved the concept and funding of upgrading the drainage system for various sections of the course. In many areas, new piping was installed and old drain lines, which had been in place since the early 1900s, were replaced. ...Initial estimates for the work were in the $700,000 range. It was decided to prioritize areas to be done based on funds available and areas of importance according to playability." Discusses the process and materials used to upgrade the drainage system. |
