| Abstract/Contents: | Researchers at Ohio State University have discovered, after many years of studies, that through the use of compost it may be possible to obtain a depressive effect on the diseases of turfgrasses. Specifically, the incorporation of compost into top dressing or using it as a component of soil mixes allows for the diminishing of stress on the plants and thus the susceptibility to diseases or attack by pathogens. |
