| Abstract/Contents: | Provides information on the publics perception of risk taking and how this effects pesticide usage in the turfgrass industry. The author states the main problem for lack of public confidence in the realms of pesticide usage on golf courses as being the inadequate understanding of our audience: the public. Furthermore, this lack of understanding has seemed to usurp the industries educational efforts aimed toward creating a positive public perception of pesticide usage on golf courses. |
