Abstract/Contents: | "With the rapid development of golf course projects in Europe, the environmental compatibility of the turf fertilisation has become of special importance. It can generally be stated that under the permanent cover of a grass sward only minor nutrient losses are to be expected...It can be shown that in Europe the application of special slow-release turf fertilisers containing nitrogen bound in a specific form, makes a major contribution to the prevention of nitrate leaching from golf courses." |
