Abstract/Contents:"Environmentally Sensitive Golf Course Design (ESGCD) may sound like a contradiction, but it is instead a new concept that bridges two extremes. With the hope of being able to rediscover the art of integrating natural habitat with a golf course, ESGCD aims to minimise the 'buffer areas' that exist between natural habitat and maintained areas on a golf course."
