Abstract/Contents: | "The results from this trial work indicate that the synthetic surfaces have consistently greater green speed and draw, but can be very hot and hard on the feet. The synthetic surfaces were more consistent in pace and draw over a range of conditions and at various time periods during the day compared with the couchgrass, while the bentgrass showed no variation in green speed regardless of the time of day or weather conditions." |
