Abstract/Contents: | "Soil testing remains one of the best ways of assessing the fertility needs of the cotula and can be an important tool in developing sound management practices. However, soil tests do have their limitations. The optimum levels to aim for should be used as a guide in determining fertility needs. Careful observation and the skill of an experienced green's superintendent are also important parts of the green's management programme." |
