Abstract/Contents: | "In summary, this paper puts forward an approach or process for minimising the use of chemicals and to evaluate some of the alternative treatments that North Shore City have tried. The solution to alleviating public concerns is to be proactive and work towards minimisation of chemical use. We need to be responsive to the needs of our communities and by seeking environmentally sensitive methods of weed and pest control North Shore City are attempting to do that." |
