Abstract/Contents:Reports results of broadleaf weed control on bentgrass, bluegrass and ryegrass mixed turf using triclopyr (Garlon) and/or Dowco 290, and Lontrel 205 (Dowco 290 and 2,4-D). Garlon and Dowco 290 provided adequate control of a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds but also caused serious phytotoxic effects at high rates which lasted for 6-8 weeks. Trimec caused no discoloration and produced good overall broadleaf weed control as well.
