Abstract/Contents: | "People are becoming more aware of and concerned about the effects of chemicals on our environment. Research indicates that pesticides, when used appropriately, pose a minimal threat to the health of humans, animals and the environment. But because we can't be certain, many people choose to avoid pesticides. Organic lawn care is a result these concerns. The following opinion concerning organic lawn care was presented at the 1994 North Carolina Turfgrass Conference." |
