Abstract/Contents: | "PESTICIDE APPLICATORS face both the risk of acute exposure, a single potentially hazardous exposure to pesticides, and chronic exposure, the repeated potentially hazardous exposure to small amounts of pesticides over a long time period. Reducing exposure during use reduces the potential for acute exposure as well as chronic exposure. Using pesticides according to label directions and exercising common sense will reduce your exposure and that of others to pesticides." Ways are explained to reduce the risk of chronic exposure to pesticides. |
