| Abstract/Contents: | Reports results of studies to determine effects of Nortron (ethofumesate) on perennial ryegrass seed emergence when applied preemergent to control Poa annua. Certain varieties (Derby, Regal) were severely retarded with Nortron while others (Palmer, Prelude) seemed quite tolerant of the chemical. More studies will follow at Oregon State University to try to develop a Nortron spray program that will control Poa annua during turfgrass reestablishment. |
