| Abstract/Contents: | Reports results of chemical control methods for Poa annua on monocultures of bentgrass, perennial ryegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, and fine fescue using Endothall, Bensulide, and Nortron alone and in combinations at the Western Washington Research and Extension Center in 1981 and 1982 under low nitrogen fertilization programs. Endothall was most effective in reducing Poa annua from turf areas, but discoloration was severe for 3 to 4 weeks following application. Turf thinning and injury was unnacceptably severe throughout fall and winter. |
