Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the management of turfgrass diseases in different areas of the world. Explains how management practices in one part of the world may not be compatible for other parts of the world. Criticizes some of the points made concerning disease management in Management of Turfgrass Diseases, a book written by Professor J.M. Vargas Jr., professor of Botany, at Michigan State University. Jim Arthur feels that management practices in the United States cannot be compared with management practices in the United Kingdom. |
