The initial investment and management demands have been significant hurdles. But bans on the landfilling of yard trimmings, combined with pressures on the organic materials traditionally used by these companies, have led innovators in the industry to take a closer look at composting as a business opportunity." Profiles different landscape businesses in Pennsylvania, Illinois and Ohio that are utliizing clippings in their composts.
