Abstract/Contents: | Discusses flow and pressure, as they relate to irrigation. Low flow, or drip irrigation, has a longer life expectancy for its components. A list of recommendations is given. High volume watering should follow many of the same recommendations, with an emphasis on valves. Control from design to operation is also discussed, including the assessibilty of valves for upkeep and repair. Considers conditions required for low- and high-flow valves. |
