| Abstract/Contents: | "Sunday is a data-driven startup that empowers consumers with environmentally responsible programs to connect and care for their lawn. Personalized lawn care programs are tailored to the unique characteristics and needs of each customer's yard. Specifically, Sunday has developed a guided experience that gathers user data, transforms data into product recommendations and actions, and communicates this in a way that builds confidence and credibility. Spatial machine learning models were developed to estimate lawn size and predict soil nutrient levels, enabling scalable solutions. The presentation will end with a note on aligning turfgrass research programs with consumer desires and making lawn care more approachable." |
