Abstract/Contents:Buffalograss is native to the Great Plains region of North America. As such, these trials were established only with minimal irrigation (1988), and have received no supplemental irrigation since. Data presented on the performance of the cultivars and varieties include turf qualtiy (1991-1992) and spring green up. The best fall turf quality was marginally acceptable, and was observed for two experimental lines, NE84-304, and NE84-315, and one commercial variety, '609'. Fastest to green were the commercial cultivar '609' and the experimental Nebraska NE84-304.
