USGA Summary Points:Statistically significant differences were observed among the treatments for turf quality, clippings yield, and chlorophyll content. No significant differences were observed among the treatments for soil volumetric water content (VWC). Turf quality was significantly different for three out of six rating dates. Acibenzolar-S-methyl, kelp extract, PGPR Bacillus subtilis UD1022, and fosetyl-Al had higher turf quality than trinexapac-ethyl and tank mix treatments on most of the rating dates. Total chlorophyll content was significantly different for two out of six rating dates. No significant differences were observed among the treatments for root characteristics for spring and summer 2023. Bacterial abundance in the soil (measured as colony forming units) was significantly increased by UD1022 treatments.
