| USGA Summary Points: | Egg viability, as determined by 1st instar larval densities, was significantly lower in moisture stressed plants compared to fully saturated cores. Larval survival was significantly impacted by moisture stress as fewer larvae were extracted after 30 days Female host plant preference, as determined by behavioral tracking software, was not influenced by moisture-stress treatment in laboratory assays. |
