| USGA Summary Points: | Viable annual bluegrass seed is found predominantly in the upper 15 mm of soil on golf course fairways, but it is present deeper than 50 mm. A higher percentage of resistant plants were found in soil layer close to the surface. Additional testing on other sampled golf courses will help us refine recommendations on how best to mechanically remove herbicide resistant weeds via fraise mowing. |
