Abstract/Contents: | "Recent studies in several U.S. states found tha one out of every three pesticide sprayers is miscalibrated by as much as 30 per cent. These errors then can result in excess chemical costs or turf damage, or they can increase the potential for water contamination if the chemical is over applied or reduced yields due to pests if the chemical is underapplied. The following guidelines for calibration and maintenance will help." |
