Abstract/Contents: | "Herbicide applications were made on May 3, 1994 prior to crabgrass emergence to a mixed stand of cool-season grasses. Plots were irrigated immediately after application to ensure soil penetration. Natural crabgrass cover was fairly low in untreated plots (6 to 10 plants/25 ft2), therefore percent control values are expressed based on mumber of plants counted per plot. As a result of sporadic crabgrass cover, strong conclusions can not be made from this study. However, all treatments with exception of premix combinations of Gallery + Fertilizer and Dimension + fertilizer provide excellent crabgrass control." |
