Abstract/Contents: | Forest of Arden Golf & Country Club's Raymond Hunt explains how he deals with the problems caused by the abundance of wild life at the Forest of Arden. Sometimes there can be 500 deer on the course daily. Their urine is so powerful as to kill turf as effectively as petrol. Other wild life which find the surroundings irresistible are Canada geese, rabbits, hares, moles and foxes. Several methods of pest control have been tried, but none of them seem successful. |
