Abstract/Contents: | An editorial outlining what Ms. (Sra.) Diaz Weiss thinks the role of the director of a club should be. According to Ms. Diaz Weiss, there are three attitudes a director can take: 1-real support; 2-total and permanent opposition; 3-total indifference. In her eyes, the director should always act in the interest of the members and of the course itself. The director should listen to what the experts say instead of always acting in the interest of saving money. "When a club "tightens" [money], there is a backlash that will have repercussions on the state of the course." |
