Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the potential use of computers for predictive modeling of pest behavior. He suggests that if given the proper environmental data, such as weather patterns, temperature, and humidity, a properly programmed computer would be able to give a "pest forecast" for use in a pest management program. According to Brandenburg, "scouting for insect pests will be the front-line of an effective integrated pest management program." |
