| Abstract/Contents: | An update of environmental legislation in the Michigan State Senate regarding the Groundwater and Freshwater Protection Act. A provision of the bill is that pesticide manufacturers would required to pay $100.00 per product in the turf and ornamental markets. These fees will be collected and distibuted for educational programs and site improvements. In addition, the USEPA is collecting unwanted pesticides in the eastern part of Michigan. |
