Abstract/Contents: | A comparison of mounted versus towed topdressers. "Limited in load capacity by the maximum weight that can be lifted and carried at the rear of the selected tractor, the linkage mounted top dresser does, however, form a neat, low weight combination attached to a compact tractor. Probably the most versatile machine is one which can be towed over the turf on its own wheels enabling the weight of the combination to ba adjusted to suit prevailing turf conditions simply by varying the amount of material in the hopper." |
