| Abstract/Contents: | In 1977-8, during studies of DM accumulation, N absorption and evapotranspiration (measured with a neutron probe) in 2.5 X 5.0 m plots of tall fescue cv. Ludelle at Lusignan, the possibility of increasing the accuracy of water balance measurements was examined. A method was developed to accommodate changes in water supply due to irrigation, and by using 8 tubes for each measurement the error was reduced to ( 4 mm, the mean daily demand. |
