| Abstract/Contents: | The amino acid composition of cocksfoot cv. Nakielska, tall fescue cv. S170 and Bromus unioloides cv. Una was determined by high voltage paper electophoresis and chromatography and by an amino acid analyser. The latter method was more reliable. The effects of 0-90 kg N/ha and irrigation on amino acid composition were investigated. Storage of plant DM in closed glass jars for 15-28 months did not affect the amino acid composition. |
