Abstract/Contents: | Profiles the Army Navy Country Club. The course, built on the site of historical Fort Richardson, has been the favored course of most people in the military. Still, a large number of civilians help make the active membership list nearly 2400 strong. The original Arlington, VA site, now 27 holes, has since seen the addition of 27 more holes to the west in Fairfax. The club is member supported and despite its military tradition, treats all members equally with special privileges bestowed only upon the President of the U.S. Course specifics are discussed and historical facts are included. |
