| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the difficulties that many sod farmers are facing because many chemical companies are not labeling their products in accordance with the EPA's Worker Protection Standards (WPS) regulation. The WPS standards "require distinctions in labeling between farm and non-farm use." Because sod farms fall into the latter category, if the chemicals are not labeled, the sod farms cannot use them legally, even though they can be used on home lawns and golf courses. |
