Abstract/Contents: | "Often overlooked in the design, installation and maintenance of commercial landscape irrigation products, is the importance of drain check valves to prevent unwanted drainage. A drain check valve's main function in an irrigation system is to avoid unwanted drainage of sprinkler lateral lines through low heads. In addition, the drain check valve helps eliminate water-hammer damage and backflow conditions." Discusses wanted and unwanted drainage and the function of drain check valve in preventing unwanted drainage and facilitating the wanted. |
