| Abstract/Contents: | Mr. Wade discusses his views on Integrated pest management, the use of organic fertilizer alternatives, and the changing attitude toward pesticide use on the golf course. "With the introduction of organic fertilizers, IPM and a changing attitude, I have reduced pesticides on the golf course. Reducing pesticides can be done on many ways. Look at your active ingredient of each product and choose the less active as your environmentally friendly choice. Use of biological control for insects instead of insecticides is another way." |
