| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses conclusions of Florida golf superintendents that have used fertigation on their courses for at least 18 months. This surveyed group averaged about 3 1/2 years of fertigation experience. Most superintendents have had very good results applying N, K, Mg, and Fe at low levels with each irrigation. Poor distribution, turf burning, and equipment corrosion were not generally considered to be substantial problems. Fertigation practices for specific areas on the golf course are also discussed. |
