| Abstract/Contents: | "A state law which went into effect last October requires all persons withdrawing a total of one million gallons per day (MGD) or more of surface or ground water to register with the state's Division of Water Resources (DWR). The law also requires registration for any transfer of one MGD or more between any of the state's 38 river basins." Discusses the benefits of and procedures for registration. Also provides the contact address to get registration packets after November 1, 1994. |
