Abstract/Contents: | "The owners of Caledonia Plantation sought an alternative to preserve the natural beauty and rich history which was 18th and 19th century South Carolina - their solution, The New Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. As soon as you enter the property, everything about Caledonia reminds you of a time past and tells of the hunting and fishing expeditions the owners still enjoy." Describes the creation of one of the most scenic and beautiful golf courses on the South Carolina coast. Its natural beauty as well as its colonial flavor is maintained by architect Mike Strantz and the father-son development team of Larry and Dan Young. |
