Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the ambiguity caused by Canadian Standards Association Guideline on Playspaces and Equipment. "The biggest concern is the vagueness in the wording of the standards. The main point of contention is whether or not the standards are mandatory. The harmonization committee is preparing an in-depth report of how the entire document on playground safety can be improved by comparing it with American standards." Also discusses Canadian concerns in five key areas on playground safety. |
