| Abstract/Contents: | Describes the specific needs and problems facing sports turf construction in Italy. Due to the diverse amounts of rain fall that differing areas of the country receive, two kinds of fields are built, one virtually without drainage or a green cover, used for training, and another, reserved for tournaments, that has both a green cover and drainage. Information concerning both kinds of fields is given, along with drainage system information and some possible industry trends are postulated based on current information. |
