Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the reasons of failures in educating public on the risk caused by turfgrass industry. Analyzes the process that the public understand and assess risk, and interact with risk. Also discusses the correct way to educate people about making decision on risk. " It seems the time has come for the turfgrass industry to employ experts in risk analysis and management and use them in delivering our story. such experts have proven highly effective in modifying private industry and some governmnet outreach programs. If we want more reasonable social decisions on turfgrass management risk, we must encourage better education." |
