Abstract/Contents: | Disagrees with an article titled "Golf courses denounced as health hazards" which appeared in the Wall Street Journal on May 2, [1994]. "The article, based primarily on comments from members of the Sierra Club, strongly implied that golf course development has been rampant and brings with it an equally uncontrolled use of cardinogenic chemicals. Both totally false. The article was neither objective nor factual. It is a loss of respect for a paper that used to be an exceptional example of professional journalism. No rational person should sit back and tolerate journalism as bad as this." |
