Abstract/Contents: | "The two most immediate advantages to low-voltage lighting are flexbility, meaning they can be easily moved to accommodate maturing landscapes, and ease of installation. In addition, low-voltage fixtures tend to be much smaller and less obtrusive, as are the lamps themselvels. Low disturbance to the landscape is a huge advantage with low-viltage." Discusses advantages and limitations of low-voltage lighting in a comparison with those of high-voltage lighting. Also discusses the quality of installing low-voltage lighting either from do-it-yourself kit or from professional products, and factors to be considered in the appropriate selection for effective landscapeing lighting. |
