Abstract/Contents: | "It is totally unnecessary to have a sand green in any form, be it United States Golf Association-type or any variation. It is much cheaper to use the soil that is there and provide an alternative means of achieving the necessary drainage. It also overcomes the problem of getting the right sand/soil mix. The cost is a fraction of your normal green construction and your time delay is very small." |
