Abstract/Contents: | "Golf course maintenance with a totally tropical taste will be on the menu for students at Myerscough College in Preston from the beginning of this month. One of the greenhouses is being turned into an indoor golf hole. Turf has been flown in from Spain and the irrigation and heating systems modified to create drought and flood conditions. The college aims to prepare students for work on turf in sunnier climes by simulating different weather conditions." |
