| Abstract/Contents: | 5 herbicides at various rates were applied to A-34 Kentucky bluegrass on May 26, 1992 as a postemergence application. Phyto was evaluated on May 28, 1992. The percentage of control of oxalis, white clover and plantain was evaluated on July 1, 1992. "No phyto was observed with any treatments. All treatments gave excellent control of white clover (100%). Dissolve and tripower gave excellent control of plantain (88 to 97 percent). The two RD502 products did not do as well in control of plantain, but there was a rate response as rates increased. The high rates of the RD products ranged from 68 to 83 % control of plantain. Trimec 992 had only 53 % control. Control of oxalis was a little mixed. Dissolve gave good control of oxalis with a rate response of 87 to 92 % control. RD502005 significantly increased its control of oxalis when increasing its rate from 2.00 to 2.80 #AI/A. Trimec 992 gave only 40% control of oxalis. The high rate of tripower had one low rep and brought its control of oxalis down to 73%." |
