Abstract/Contents: | The following grass spp. grown in pure stands during 1975-77 were sampled at different stages of development: Lolium perenne, Festuca pratensis, Dactylis glomerata, Bromus inermis, F. arundinacea, Baldingera [Phalaris] arundinacea, Phleum pratense, Poa pratensis, Festuca rubra and Arrhenatherum elatius. Ash and mineral contents at successive growth stages are presented; mineral contents varied quantitatively between spp. but showed similar trends during development. The changes in content of each element are presented graphically. |
