Abstract/Contents: | Details the beginning and the growth of the Metropolitan Golf Association Green Section. The association dates back to June 23, 1925 and membership grew steadily in its beginning years. The section was divided into two sections: the Green section and the Supply section. "The Green section has been concerned solely with the distribution of information and advice in regard to golf course maintenance, while the Supply section has dealt only with questions relating to the purchase of implements and materials." Further details the activities of both the section, dues, officers, and the metropolitan areas involved in the organizations. |
